Radia stood in the Temple of the Naaru among the other masses gathered that day, in her finest robes and her mace on her side. She recieved a few looks, some whispers, but she ignored them, her eyes on a smaller form who was among the small group of paladins in the front of the hall, who were recieving blessings.
Beside her, stood Alenea, her companion and best friend for the entire time they had come to this planet. Alenea wore her armor that she fought in, though she had fixed any dents and polished it. She saw no point in wearing finery, but practicality.
The ceremony was a lenghty one, as Draenei ceremonies sometimes were, but Radia and Alenea stayed silent, small smiles on both of their proud faces as they watched the future paladins and priests recieve their blessings which would allow them to become High priests and paladins of the Naaru. Finally, doves were released and the ceremony was over. Radia spoke to a few priests who came over to her and asked her about her ventures outside the Exodor, but she excused herself to go see the young paladin who Alenea had gone to see.
Adori was standing in her polished armor, her tabard newly washed and her hair neatly braided, talking to Alenea, who was telling her they were proud of her.
"Lady Knight Adori... it has a ring to it..." Radia smiled and hugged the suddenly blushing Adori. "We are proud of you, sweetie."
A clearing of the throat got the three guildmate's attention and Radia looked to see Najad, the Paladin who had given Adori such problems when she was younger. The older paladin looked at Adori and nodded once before walking away.
Adori smiled, holding out her hand as she blessed Najad, the male who had been so hard on her, and made her feel she couldn't do or learn anything.
Radia smiled, watching Adori, and prayed that she would never loose that warmth she held in her heart. For that warmth would be the one that would break through the ice of the future's battles.
